Who We are

Kelley Waters - DO BSc (Hons) Ost. Registered Osteopath GOsC

Kelley qualified from the European School of Osteopathy in 1999 and worked in various busy practices before establishing the Orchard Clinic in 2002. She is passionate about her vocation and has chosen like-minded practitioners to work alongside her in Upper Basildon, allowing her to create a caring, professional health clinic providing the very best care for each client. Kelley is delighted to be working in a team with osteopaths who have a similar approach to her. Kelley lives locally and is married to Dominic and they have two children, Ben and Georgina.

Tom Morgan - BSc (Hons) Ost. Registered Osteopath GOsC

Tom qualified from the College of Osteopaths in London and has since worked locally at clinics in South Oxfordshire and Berkshire. His background and experience as a Sports Injury Therapist enables him to treat his patients using a wide range of techniques, returning them to their normal activities as soon as possible and minimising recurrences. Tom lives in Wallingford with Lou and his two young children.

Carrie Schmidt - MICHT Massage Therapist

Carrie has worked as a remedial massage therapist since 2001 and has been involved with the Orchard Clinic since it opened in October 2002. She combines deep soft tissue massage with exercise and stretching and advice, while working closely with the other therapists at the Clinic, ensuring the most effective treatment for her clients. Carrie lives near Goring with her husband and two boys, Joshua and Harry.

Julia Deacon - Massage Therapist

Like Carrie, Julia studied at Newbury College and is very much enjoying working as part of the clinic massage team. She uses deep soft tissue release techniques to aid relief of muscular aches and pains and stimulate recovery from injury. Julia has completed her advance clinical massage course with the Jing Institute in Brighton. She gains great satisfaction from improving the wellbeing of her clients. She lives in the Newbury area and is a working mother of two daughters.

Kathy Aitchison - BA OSSM DIP

Kathy qualified as a Sport and Remedial Soft-Tissue Massage Therapist from the Oxford School of Sports Management (OSSM) in 2013. She uses a variety of muscle energy techniques and soft-tissue releases in her massage work and enjoys helping her patients in their recovery from sport related injuries and accidents, in dealing with longer term health issues and coping with the stresses and strains of daily living. Kathy has a caring and supporting ethos and enjoys working with her colleagues to be part of a holistic approach to healing. She lives locally with her husband and boys and enjoys an active and sporty life.

Anna Wilson - (MA Cantab)

After a degree in French and Spanish, and a career first in publishing and then as owner of a care business, Anna decided to pursue her passion for holistic health. She trained as a massage therapist with Quantum Metta School of Massage in London, then as a yoga teacher with Camyoga in Cambridge, and is currently training in reflexology. Anna is qualified in Holistic Massage (MTI level 4), Traditional Thai Yoga Massage (APNT), hot stone massage and is a member of the Massage Training Institute and the Complementary Therapists Association. Her therapeutic treatments combine deep tissue techniques, along with more gentle massage and stretches according to the needs of each client. Anna currently divides her time between her home in North London (with two beautiful Bengal cats) and West Berkshire (where she spends time with her partner). She has two grown-up sons and loves walking, climbing, yoga and cooking.

Cassandra Eaton - MA, Mental Health Counselling

Cassie is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Cassie is trained in a multitude of psychotherapies, receiving her Master of Arts Degree from Brooklyn College in New York. She practices counselling in a person-centered approach, along with incorporating techniques of cognitive behavioral therapy.
Cassie has more recently moved to the local area with her husband and young daughter. She specializes providing counselling in the following areas, primarily with adults and teenagers:
- Managing chronic disease/health obstacles
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Relationship issues
- Trauma
- Self image & confidence building
- Career coaching
- Everyday life stresses

Catherine Green - MSc., MA,Cert Systemic Family Therapy, GIPD, SRN

Catherine is UKCP accredited and a Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. Catherine is an Integrative psychotherapist and counsellor and has many years’ experience using cognitive, behavioural and person-centred therapies to enable her clients to explore their problems and find possible ways forward to solve their issues. She works in the public and private sector and specialises in stress, anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, relationship issues and trauma.

Georgia Turner - MChS, Bsc Hons, HCPC Registered Podiatrist

With almost 20 years’ experience as a Podiatrist, both as an NHS clinician and team manager, Georgia has experience of working in both hospital and health centre settings in both Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. With a special interest in Diabetic foot health, Georgia has previously provided foot health education talks to newly diagnosed Diabetics in Buckinghamshire. Podopaediatrics (children’s foot health) became a special interest after becoming a mum herself which motivated Georgia to provide the type of straightforward, knowledgeable advice and aftercare that she would expect for her own children. Georgia currently works for Oxfordshire’s NHS Podiatry service two days a week and in joining The Orchard Clinic team, she hopes to provide a professional, patient centred, approach in order to keep patients on their feet.

Abi Williamson - Reflexologist IIR, MAR

Abi qualified with the International Institute of Reflexology in London. Originally from a scientific background with a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Marine Biology, Abi is constantly amazed by reflexology and its benefits. She enjoys treating a range of conditions in adults, children & babies. She lives in Upper Basildon with her husband and two young children and enjoys sailing and the outdoors.

Sally Knight - Practice Manager

Sally is the Practice Manager at The Orchard Clinic. She came out of retirement to assist Kelley at the beginning and has not managed to escape since! Sally lives in Newbury and she very much enjoys being part of the team; working in the background to help make visits to the Clinic as enjoyable and relaxing as possible for all clients and practitioners.

Deidre van der Waag - Part-time Receptionist

Deidre joins the team to provide cover on an ad hoc basis. She also works part-time in property sales and has previously worked in a wide spectrum of business sectors. She enjoys welcoming the clients and being part of such a wonderful team. Working in such a beautiful environment is obviously a plus.

Gemma van der Waag - Part-time Receptionist

Gemma has been part of the part-time team since October 2016. As a student, she covers reception during holidays and Saturday mornings. Gemma particularly enjoys working with the clients and practitioners in such a welcoming, friendly environment.

Elaine Miles - Receptionist

Elaine has worked in administration and reception work for many years. She enjoys working at the Orchard Clinic meeting and greeting clients, making them feel welcome with a cup of tea and supporting the practitioners. She lives in Upper Basildon with her family.

Sue Thompson - Receptionist

Sue joined the team in April 2013, having taken a career break from Thames Water, where she managed their town planning portfolio. Sue takes great pleasure in welcoming our clients when they visit, and in helping the reception to run smoothly. She lives in Upper Basildon with her husband and dog.

Becky Seabright - Receptionist

Becky joined the reception team in 2012. She enjoys meeting and chatting with clients, supporting the practitioners, and carrying out administration work for the clinic. She particularly enjoys working in such a friendly environment and being surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Tracey Banahan - Receptionist

Tracey moved with her family to Upper Basildon 17 years ago following a career in Finance and Project Management. She has had a number of part-time working roles whilst raising her children; loves meeting new people and is looking forward to joining the receptionist team at the clinic.

Helen Prietzel - Receptionist

Helen has recently joined the Reception Team at The Orchard Clinic. She has previously worked in office administration in both medical and legal environments. She enjoys meeting and getting to know people.
